Another client win for Hendrix Rose PR

At Hendrix Rose PR, we're passionate about working with organisations and individuals who use creativity to spark conversations, challenge perspectives and make a lasting impact.
That's why we're delighted to be supporting the launch of Crossroad – The Price of Choice: Peace is Not Given, a major new exhibition by internationally acclaimed artist Dian Kostov, which opens at Manchester Cathedral on 3 July 2026.
Over the past few weeks, our team has been working closely with Dian and the exhibition partners to build awareness ahead of the launch, securing media opportunities, arranging journalist previews and introducing this remarkable exhibition to arts, culture and regional media across the UK.
As PR professionals, we're fortunate to work on campaigns that tell compelling stories. This is undoubtedly one of them.
Running until 10 September 2026, Crossroad – The Price of Choice: Peace is Not Given will transform Manchester Cathedral into an immersive artistic experience unlike anything the city has seen before.
The exhibition explores themes of conflict, peace, resilience and hope through a carefully curated collection of large-scale installations, documentary photography and contemporary icon-inspired artwork.
Visitors will journey through spaces designed to encourage reflection rather than provide easy answers, considering the choices that shape both our individual lives and society as a whole.
Among the exhibition's most striking installations is the Peace Globe, illuminated by 59 candles representing active armed conflicts around the world.
Another deeply moving centrepiece is a cross created from charred beams recovered from a church destroyed near Kyiv, serving as a powerful reminder of both devastation and resilience.
Hundreds of suspended white birds gathered beneath a dramatic Crown of Thorns installation complete one of the exhibition's most memorable visual experiences, creating a space that encourages visitors to pause, reflect and engage.
What makes Crossroad – The Price of Choice particularly compelling is its ability to connect global events with deeply personal experiences.
The exhibition brings together 72 documentary photographs captured in Ukraine alongside 80 original works by Dian Kostov, whose artistic practice blends centuries-old iconography with contemporary installation art.
Developed in collaboration with psychotherapist Milena Tashkova, the exhibition also explores the psychological dimensions of conflict, considering how personal struggles, choices and reconciliation influence the wider communities we live in.
Rather than focusing solely on political events, the exhibition asks a universal question:
How do the choices we make every day contribute to a more peaceful future?
It's a message that feels particularly relevant in today's world.
One of the things we enjoy most at Hendrix Rose PR is working on campaigns that have genuine purpose.
This isn't simply an exhibition announcement.
It's an opportunity to introduce audiences to an artistic experience that encourages conversation, reflection and empathy.
As communications professionals, we know that successful campaigns are built on stories that resonate emotionally with audiences. While the exhibition features visually striking installations that naturally attract attention, it's the underlying narrative that gives the project its real strength.
The themes of peace, resilience and human choice are universal, making the exhibition relevant not only to arts audiences but also to communities, educators, faith organisations and anyone interested in the role culture can play in shaping society.
Since joining the project, our focus has been on ensuring the exhibition reaches as wide an audience as possible before the doors open.
We've been developing media materials, pitching feature opportunities, arranging journalist preview visits and working with key regional and national publications to showcase why this exhibition deserves attention.
For arts and cultural organisations, media relations remain one of the most effective ways to generate awareness and encourage attendance.
Journalist previews allow reporters, photographers and broadcasters to experience exhibitions first-hand, helping them tell richer, more engaging stories for their audiences.
Combined with targeted media outreach, these opportunities help build anticipation ahead of opening day while creating valuable editorial coverage that continues throughout the exhibition's run.
It's always rewarding to see a campaign begin to gather momentum, particularly when supporting projects that have such meaningful stories to tell.
Manchester has firmly established itself as one of the UK's leading cultural destinations, with a thriving arts scene that continues to attract visitors from across the country and beyond.
The arrival of Crossroad – The Price of Choice: Peace is Not Given adds another significant cultural moment to the city's Summer 2026 programme.
Set within the historic surroundings of Manchester Cathedral, the exhibition offers visitors a unique opportunity to experience contemporary installation art in one of the city's most iconic buildings.
Alongside the Manchester exhibition, a connected installation, A Mother's Warmth, will be presented simultaneously at Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral, creating a dialogue between the two cities through shared themes of compassion, humanity and hope.
We're incredibly proud to be supporting the launch of this landmark exhibition and helping to tell its story through strategic communications and media relations.
Campaigns like this remind us why we love what we do.
Every exhibition, event or organisation has a story worth telling, and our role is to ensure that story reaches the people who matter most.
As the exhibition opens its doors on 3 July, we're looking forward to seeing visitors experience Dian Kostov's extraordinary work and following the conversations it inspires across Manchester and beyond.
